Summary: If you're interested in offering an interface for your event's end users to download related information or to link other pages or documents you can easily do this using some of the Event Page Templates provided.
Important: First of all, make sure that the Page Template you're using provides this functionality.
Steps
1. Add a colour Mask to the Downloads button element (1 by 1 px coloured .png, .jpg or .gif file)
On the left-hand side's Event Management menu, click Event Page > Contents
Unfold the Select a Content Category field and choose the Downloads Button element
Upload a 1x1gif, jpg or png file painted with the background colour of your button
2. Upload the desired contents and type links to the Attachments section
On the left-hand side's Event Management menu, click Event Page > Contents
Unfold the Select a Content Category field and choose the Attachments element
click to upload a file orto add a link to another page.
Try to change the file name on the user interface to make it more readable. You can also add a description, by clicking on the field content once the content was uploaded.
3. Try the end-user dialogue within the event
On the left-hand side's Event Management menu, click Event Page > Preview
Open the Downloads Button section on the left-hand side menu and choose your previously uploaded image (Buttons-Back-1x1.png).
Click clickto make the button visible
From here you can test the Dialogue as an end-user would when they Click on the Downloads button
Links are fully functional on this preview page
Note: To ensure a seamless experience for attendees, all links related to the event will open in a new browser tab, preventing any unexpected closures of the event's page
