Import contacts from a CSV file

Summary: Vancast provides an easy way to manage lists of contacts.


The CSV file header has to be: email, firstName, lastName


Importing contacts from a csv file will parse the email field of all the contacts to check whether the email construction is correct. Incorrect emails will be detailed and can also be downloaded. 

You also have the possibility of updating existing contacts in the list (same email) or leaving the existing ones as they were and adding the new ones only.

You can also replace all contacts in a list by deleting all contacts and importing a new file


From an existing list click on upload from CSV

Select a valid CSV file

Before confirming, the import interface will inform give you all the information about the file you're trying to import, including details about incorrect rows in the file.

You can any way import the correct rows 

before confirming check whether you want to update existing contacts or not.

Finally, click Import
