Modified on Sat, 14 Jan 2023 at 01:37 PM

Summary: If your organization has set up SSO integration for VancastVideo pages and content, all you need to do is create an SSO type link and paste the provided URL in the designated location within your application.

Important: Implementing SSO integration with VancastVideo serves a dual purpose:

It enables end-users to securely access video content without the need for additional registration or login.

It ensures that only authenticated users with the appropriate authorization on your platform can view the content

All this said, let's see the steps to set up an SSO Access link.

  1. Hover over the side menu of the Event Management Page and click on Access Links
  2. Clickto add a new Access Link
  3. In the modal window that just opened, give it a useful Description
  4. Choose the Single Sign On Access Type
  5. Click overto enable the link
  6. Click Create
  7. Get the URLs; Click on the SSO box to unfold its properties and on the URL tab, use the correspondingbutton to copy either the URL or the Webcast Player embed code to the clipboard.

  8. Paste the copied value to the designated place on your application's backend.

  9. Check, as an end-user of your platform, that you can access the event page or player, in case you used the iframe-based embed code.

Prerequisites:

The SSO integration has been set up and tested as previously stated.

An SSO Key must be obtained from your company's internal SSO server app. Click on the information pane link for more information.

Only an Admin user with Owner permissions for the account/workspace can create an SSO Key.
